We were all beat after the long flight, and we slept for 10 hrs.straight. After our gross first cup of coffee, we took a boat to the picturesque little town of Russell. Then a bus tour to some
stunning mountain tops. Very hot there because it was almost at the top of the North
Island. Expensive tourist town. Guide pointed out one condo that rents for
25,000.00 per day. After the boat trip back to the main island, we left for a windy road with very steep hills to Kaitu. A Top 10 campground. Sunny and warm all day, WiFi at this site didn't work .
Gorgeous flowers and trees though.
