scrumptious, as is the passion fruit butter. Great way to start the day.
We left Adelaide at 9:15 in the rain. We decided to skip Kangeroo Island. Calling for
rain a couple of days.
At 11:30 we stopped at the cutest little town. It looked deserted. It had the most
adorable little tea room. Coffee and cake (taramazoo) for me. Found a store that had
duct tape to close off the air vents on the stairs. While we were in this store, the
owner from the restaurant runs after us to tell us there's flooding up ahead. It was past
Port Augusta, our destination, so we decided to check it out later.
When we left, Marcel decided to drive. A first for him. |
Immy is keeping her eye on the new driver.
Arrived safely in Port Augusta and were relieved to pay only $60. for the campsite
instead of $120. the first night. Rained all day.
Ordered pizza in for supper, Very lekker.
All we've been hearing on the news is about the flooding in NSW. Glad to hear you are avoiding it. I hope you two gentlemen remember to drive on the right side of the road when you get home.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lovely motorhome.
Pizza? Now, how Australian is that?
I hope you're enjoying the Tim Tam biscuits Chrissy & Ian gave you! I got addicted to them!
