March 22, 2012 Tue Day 40 Cairns

Wake up call at 3:30 am this morning.  Flight at 6:20.  We were at the airport at 4:15.
Again I was sent to the service counter for our boarding passes, because of my passport being in my maiden name.  Then the flight was delayed 1 hr.    

Peter had the window seat.  So, he took these next pictures leaving Darwin

Arriving in Cairns.  Our clocks forward 1/2 hr. 

On the airplane, Immy remembered she left her bathing suit behind.  No worries. On our way to the villa, we went shopping.  A new bathing suit for Immy and groceries. This is our villa, and our rental car.  The suitcases were a challenge.  One had to fit in the backseat between Immy and I.
The villa is everything we hoped for and more.  It is spotless and big, after living in the motor home for 5 weeks together.  A bedroom each.  We were told when we checked in that it had rained for 8 days here, with a total of 690 mm.  No rain today, but it rained overnight.
